Born from Personal Experience
HarborJX was founded when we recognised that traditional computer training simply wasn't meeting the needs of senior learners. Too often, courses moved too quickly, used confusing jargon, or made assumptions about prior knowledge that left many feeling frustrated and excluded.
We started with a simple principle: everyone deserves to feel comfortable and confident with technology, regardless of their starting point. Our approach respects the wealth of life experience our students bring whilst acknowledging that learning new skills later in life requires patience, understanding, and a completely different teaching methodology.
Today, we're proud to serve seniors across the EU, both through our Cork-based centre and our growing online community. Every student who gains the confidence to video call their grandchildren, shop safely online, or simply navigate their smartphone with ease reminds us why this work matters so much.
